Royal Oak Cat Hotel is a specialist boarding cattery based in the rural area of Bickerstaffe (near Ormskirk) on the border of Lancashire and Merseyside. Our cattery specializes in boarding cats only so we can ensure a peaceful relaxed holiday for your cat; enabling you to go away and enjoy your holiday in confidence.We offer to each cat secure private accommodation that is both heated and comfortable. Each pen in the cattery has an indoor sleeping section, however they all include their very own (accessible via a cat flap) private outdoor run for playtime, or simply lazing in the sun (UK weather permitting).At the Royal Oak Cat Hotel we can cater to all your fussy cats dietary needs. Whether it be an addiction to chew sticks or a fascination with fish, we will match your cats diet at home. This will help your cat settle and try not to miss you too much.The cattery is open all year round and cared for 24/7 365 by a family of experienced cat specialists with nearly 40 years experience including animal care, grooming, boarding and veterinary nurse.

Each cat is separated from all other cats in the cattery so there is no need to worry about contact from other cats or cross infection. Our cattery was designed in accordance with recommendations made by the WLBC Environmental Health Services, Standards for Cat Boarding Establishments and various aspects from the Feline Advisory Bureau. All we ask to support this is your cat to have a valid vaccination certificate updated at least 4 weeks before your cat is due to enter the cattery.

Once your cat enters through our reception area they are safely secured. The cattery is designed in such a way that even Steve McQueen would struggle to escape our cattery! Purposely placed CCTV cameras and BT redcare alarms are also in place to ensure your cat is in the safest of paws.
